MemberFirst Credit Union is a local community credit union formed from an amalgamation of several Industrial based Credit Unions with the support of the residents of the Community of Holroyd.

The commonality that gave birth to the first merger was their proximity in the South Granville/Villawood area and the industries involved were Rothmans of Pall Mall, Merck Sharp and Dohme and Richardson Merrille (now Proctor and Gamble).

They came together to form Rothville Credit Union with continued presence in each companies site.

Soon after this an office was opened in Merrylands to service the Holroyd community as well as our industrial sites.

In 2006, Dairy Farmers Employees Credit Union merged into MemberFirst, which expanded our base to the Dairy Farmers employees Australia wide.

MemberFirst has long been actively involved in supporting community organisations and activities and seeks to become the preferred banker for local community and not-for-profit organisations.
